Here are a few steps on how to add a Media file to the OBS Studio

  • Drag and drop files directly in the OBS or
  • Open OBS and click on the “+” button under the “Sources” section in the bottom-left corner of the screen.
  • Select “Media Source” from the drop-down menu.
  • Give the source a name and click “OK”
  • Click on “Browse” and select the video file you want to add from your computer.
  • Choose the “Loop” option if you want the video file to play constantly in the scenes
  • Enable "Close file when inactive " for better performance
  • Click “OK”

**Here are a few steps on how to add a Media file to the Streamlabs Desktop **

  • Drag and drop files directly in the Streamlabs Desktop or
  • Open Streamlabs OBS and click on the “+” button under the “Sources” section in the bottom-left corner of the screen.
  • Select “Media Source” from the drop-down menu.
  • Give the source a name and click “OK”
  • Click on “Browse” and select the video file you want to add from your computer.
  • Choose the “Loop” option if you want the video file to play constantly in the scenes

**Here are a few steps on how to add a Media file to the Streamelements **

  • Create an overlay or Edit the existing one
  • Click on the “Add widget” or blue circle with the “+” sign and navigate to “Static/Custom” and select “Video”
  • Upload a video file and adjust size and position by dragging the file on the screen
