Adding Stream Labels in Streamlabs Desktop
Log in to Streamlabs Desktop:
- Open Streamlabs Desktop on your computer.
Add a New Stream Label Widget:
- Go to the “Widgets” tab in the bottom left of the screen.
- Select “Stream Labels” from the list of widgets.
Configure Stream Labels:
- Click “Add Source” to create a new Stream Labels source.
- You can either “Create New” or “Add Existing” if you’ve already set up stream labels.
- Customize the text by selecting different categories for the labels (e.g., Recent Follower, Top Donor).
Customize Appearance:
- Adjust the font, size, color, and style of the labels.
- You can also set the duration and refresh rate for updating the labels.
Add to Your Scene:
- Click “Done” to add the Stream Labels widget to your scene.
- Position and resize the labels as needed in the preview window.
Adding Stream Labels in StreamElements
Log in to StreamElements:
- Go to StreamElements and log in with your streaming account.
Access Overlay Manager:
- Navigate to “Overlay Manager” in the dashboard.
Create or Edit an Overlay:
- Click “Create New Overlay” or select an existing overlay to edit.
Add Stream Labels Widget:
- Click the “+” button to add a new widget.
- Choose “Labels” from the list of widgets. You’ll see options like “Recent Events”, “Recent Followers”, and “Recent Donations”.
Customize Labels:
- Configure the settings for each type of label, such as text size, font, color, and how often they update.
- You can also add custom CSS to further style the labels if desired.
Save and Get Overlay URL:
- After customization, click “Save”.
- Copy the “Overlay URL” provided if you need to add it to your streaming software.
Add to Streaming Software (if needed):
- Open your streaming software (e.g., OBS, Streamlabs Desktop).
- Add a new “Browser Source” and paste the Overlay URL you copied.
Adding Streamlabs Labels in OBS Studio
Install Stream Labels Plugin (if needed):
- For dynamic stream labels, you might need the Stream Labels plugin for OBS.
- Download and install the plugin following the instructions provided on the plugin’s page.
Add a Text Source:
- Open OBS Studio.
- In the “Sources” box, click the “+” button and select “Text (GDI+)”.
Configure Stream Labels:
- Create New Text Source: Enter a name for the text source and click “OK”.
- Text Settings: In the properties window, you can use the text field to input the stream label variables if using a plugin or a pre-configured stream labels file (e.g.,
{follower}
,{donation}
). - Style and Appearance: Customize the font, size, color, and other styles.
Use Stream Labels File (if applicable):
- If using a stream labels plugin, make sure the labels file is set up correctly and pointing to the right path in the plugin settings.
Position and Resize:
- Adjust the position and size of the text source in the preview window.
Test and Update:
- Test your stream labels to ensure they display correctly and update as expected.
