If you’re looking to streamline the process of importing overlays into your streaming setup, several tools and platforms make it easier to do so with minimal effort. Here’s how you can achieve a “one-click import” experience for overlays, depending on the streaming software you use:

For StreamElements
StreamElements offers a user-friendly approach to importing overlays:
Log in to StreamElements:
- Go to the StreamElements website and log in with your streaming account.
Browse Overlays:
- Go to the Overlay Manager under “Streaming Tools.”
Import Overlays:
- Open the Downloaded folder and open “Quick Install” or ” Import StreamElements File “
- Open the txt file, copy the URL links that you will find inside, and paste each link into the browser tab.
- You will see a Green Tab confirming your overlays are imported.
Customize Overlays and add to Your Stream:
- After importing, you can customize the overlay in the StreamElements overlay editor.
- Save the overlay and copy the URL to add it as a browser source in your streaming software.
Streamlabs Desktop
Streamlabs Desktop also allows for straightforward overlay management:
Log in to Streamlabs:
- Open Streamlabs Desktop and log in with your streaming account.
Use Overlay Library:
- Go to the “Themes” section under the “Themes” tab.
Import or Install Overlays:
- Browse available themes or click “Import Overlay” click it and navigate to the download folder and find .Overlay the file in “Quick Install” or “Streamlabs Import” folder
- Follow the prompts to add the overlay to your stream.
Apply and Customize:
- Once imported, you can adjust and customize the overlay as needed within the Streamlabs editor.
