💡 PRO TIP FOR TIKTOK STREAMING
The TikTok transition is in a 9:16 vertical layout.
This means you need to adjust your stream in OBS to use this transition:
Go to Settings > Video
Set Base (Canvas) Resolution to 1080×1920
Set Output (Scaled) Resolution to 1080×1920

🔧 BASIC STREAM SETUP FOR TIKTOK IN OBS
Set Up Your Scenes
Go to OBS and create multiple scenes (e.g.,
Starting Soon
,Main
,BRB
,Ending
).Add your sources (camera, overlays, gameplay, etc.) into each scene.
Add Your TikTok Stream Info
Go to Settings > Stream
Choose
Custom
from the Service dropdown.Paste in your TikTok server URL and stream key.

Adding Matte Transitions in OBS

Open OBS:
- Launch OBS on your computer.

Access the Scene Transitions Menu:
- Click on the “Scene Transitions” section at the bottom right of the OBS window.
- Clik on “+” and choose Stinger
Add a New Transition:
- Upload Video Files: Navigate to the downloaded folder ( Use Webm Transition for streaming )
- Choose a transition with or without sound
Configure the Transition:
- Audio Transition Point: Time
- Set Transition point: 0
- Matt Layout: Enable “Use a Track Matte”
- Matte layout type: Same file, side-by-side ( stinger on the left, track matte on the right )
- Audio Monitoring: Monitor Only (mute output )
- Audio Fade Style: Fade out to the transition point then fade in

Set the Default Transition:
- Select your newly added transition from the list to set it as the default transition for your scenes.
Apply and Test:
- Switch between your scenes to test the transition. Make sure it performs as expected.
Adding Matte Transitions in Streamlabs
Open Streamlabs Desktop:
- Launch Streamlabs on your computer.
Access the Scene Transitions Menu:
- Click on the “Arrow” gear icon in the Scenes tab right corner.
Access the Scene Transitions Menu:
- In the newly opened window click on ” Add transition”
- Or edit the existing one if you want
- From the dropdown Type select Stinger and click “Done”
Add a New Transition:
